About
Every wedding is a story worth telling.
Amandine Freyburger — Wedding Planner in Alsace, France
French hospitality-trained wedding planner in Alsace since 2013. We plan elegant, fully personalized weddings for international couples who choose Alsace as their destination, or plan a wedding abroad with a French sensibility.

Our vision
A wedding is not an event. It is an experience.
A successful wedding is not measured by the size of the budget, nor by the number of guests, nor by how spectacular the decoration is. It is measured by what people feel while living it, and by what they still remember ten years later.
This conviction guides every wedding we orchestrate in Alsace. Creating celebrations where every detail serves the emotion, where every moment flows naturally, where guests feel genuinely welcomed. Weddings where nothing is left to chance and yet nothing feels rigid.
We love elegant weddings that keep their soul. Weddings where there is a real atmosphere, where the scenography serves the story, where the personal signature of the couple shows up at every table, in every gesture, in every choice.

Background
An expertise born from the art of hosting.
Before becoming a wedding planner in Alsace, Amandine trained in French hospitality with a specialization in event organization. A demanding school — the one where you learn that impeccable service is prepared weeks in advance, that genuine hospitality is a craft and that unforeseen situations must never become visible to guests.
This training taught her far more than technical skills. It taught her the importance of anticipation, the value of a true sense of service, the precision required to coordinate dozens of suppliers across a single day. These are the standards that guide every wedding we plan today across Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse and the vineyards of the Alsace Wine Route.
For over ten years we have accompanied couples in bringing their weddings to life. Full weekend celebrations, wedding day coordination, ceremony design, custom scenography. Every project has taught us something. Every wedding has refined our method. Today this experience is felt in the fluidity with which we carry the planning, in our ability to anticipate delicate moments and in the standard we apply to every detail.
Our method
Listen, anticipate, orchestrate.
Three verbs that describe how we work with every couple we accompany. Three verbs that also structure every stage of your wedding planning, from the first conversation to the last lights turned off on Sunday evening.

Listen. Understand your story before shaping it.
Every wedding begins with an in-depth conversation. Your intentions, your non-intentions, your history, your family circumstances, your relationship with budget, the atmosphere you imagine. We listen before we suggest. We ask questions before recommending venues or suppliers. A successful wedding always begins with this step, which too many others rush through.

Anticipate. See what you will never see.
A wedding plays out as much in what is visible as in the hundreds of invisible decisions that make it possible. Meticulous retro-planning, coordination of deliveries, management of key moments, backup plans for weather, safety margins for the inevitable delays. We anticipate so you do not have to, and so that on the day itself everything unfolds smoothly.

Orchestrate. Carry the wedding day without ever being the focus.
On the day of your wedding you should have only one thing to do: live it fully. Coordination of suppliers, supervision of installations, management of unforeseen situations, discreet support of the couple and close family. You will often see us in the background. But we will be present every second, attentive to every detail, so that each moment flows into the next.
Our values
Trust, exacting standards, kindness.
Planning a wedding is far more than technical work. It is a human journey that stretches often over a full year, sometimes two, and rests on a real relationship of trust between the couple and their wedding planner.
Trust
We take this relationship seriously. We only accompany a limited number of weddings each year, precisely so we can be present, available and genuinely invested in every project. You will never be one file among many. You will be the wedding we are working on right now.
Exacting standards
Standards in the choice of Alsatian suppliers we recommend, standards in the precision of the retro-planning, standards in the details of the scenography. These are standards we apply first and foremost to ourselves. That is what allows us to promise a wedding that meets your expectations.
Kindness
Because wedding preparations are often traversed by emotions, family tensions and doubts. Our role is also to be a stable anchor. Someone who listens, who reassures, who offers guidance without ever imposing.

International weddings
A wedding planner working fluently in English.
For international couples getting married in Alsace, working in English is not an optional service. It is a full-fledged part of how we operate. Amandine speaks and writes fluently in English. Every conversation, every document, every timeline, every supplier briefing is available in English throughout the planning process.
Beyond language, what matters is understanding what an international wedding actually requires. Coordinating guests who travel long distances, managing time zone differences in the planning phase, working with suppliers who may not speak English themselves, and translating expectations both ways between American, British, Swiss or Belgian couples and French suppliers.
We have accompanied weddings for international couples in Alsace and beyond. Every project reinforces our understanding of what this specific format requires. We are not a French wedding planner who happens to speak some English. We are a bilingual wedding planner whose second market is deliberately international couples.

Where we work
In Alsace, and well beyond.
Based in Hagenbach in the Haut-Rhin department, we plan weddings across the entire Alsace region. Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse, the Alsace Wine Route, the vineyards, the wine estates, the châteaux and the exceptional venues this region is home to.
We also plan weddings outside Alsace, including internationally. Mauritius, Canada and destinations wherever the project calls for it. These international weddings require a specific methodology, the ability to coordinate remotely and a mastery of English that allows us to work with local suppliers on their terms.
A French-language sister website, amande-evenementiel.fr, welcomes French-speaking couples getting married in Alsace with a dedicated set of pages built around the local market.

Let's talk
Let's meet.
Every story deserves its own conversation. If our approach resonates with what you imagine for your wedding, we would be happy to talk. No commitment. Just an opportunity to understand your project and see how we can accompany you.
