Their story

In late November, as Strasbourg slowly dresses itself in Christmas lights, Marylène and Walter said "yes" in a setting steeped in history.

After months spent imagining and organising their wedding themselves, they wanted to live the day fully, without having to think about logistics once it arrived.

The day began with a ceremony at Strasbourg Cathedral, a majestic place that also offered a magnificent backdrop for the couple's photographs. Then on to Château de Pourtalès for a reception in their image.

An antiques dealer by trade, Walter naturally brought his world into the decoration. Old objects, vintage details and treasures found over the years gave the wedding a singular, warm and authentic atmosphere. At that time of year, the spirit of Christmas naturally joined the decor, creating a soft, enveloping mood.

A wedding designed by the couple, a day entrusted to me

Marylène and Walter had imagined and prepared their wedding down to the smallest detail. My role was to take over on the day itself and bring all that planning to life, serenely.

Beforehand, we went through the timeline together to anticipate the key moments and the needs of each supplier. On the day, I coordinated every participant, kept the schedule on track, managed the different moments of the day and the unexpected situations that can always arise at a wedding.

While they enjoyed their ceremony, their guests and every moment, I made sure behind the scenes that everything flowed naturally, exactly as they had imagined it. Then, as night fell over the château, the evening ended on a spectacular note: fireworks lit up the sky, a final flourish for a day outside of time.

Their story

For Michel and Adrianna, the wedding was never going to be a single day. They chose to gather their loved ones from Friday onwards, around a first convivial dinner at Villa des Hêtres Pourpres, where some guests also spent the night. The weekend could begin, in a warm family atmosphere, even before the big day.

From Friday, the backstage comes alive

While the couple enjoyed their guests, I prepared the next day's setting. Decoration setup, ceremony installation, coordination of every element… Everything was designed and installed so that Saturday could start without the couple having to think about logistics.

Saturday, time for emotions

The day began in a light and joyful mood, with a very spontaneous couple photo session full of complicity in the villa. Then came the symbolic ceremony I had the pleasure of officiating. Accompanied by a pianist, Michel and Adrianna lived a particularly moving ceremony, surrounded by their loved ones. Words, music and a great deal of emotion punctuated this moment designed to tell their story.

After the emotions, time to celebrate! The cocktail hour was punctuated by many animations offered by the caterer, before gradually giving way to a very festive evening. A day rich in emotions, laughter and energy, exactly as Michel and Adrianna had imagined it.

And because a wedding does not end the day after…

On Sunday, the couple and their guests gathered for a brunch, to prolong the interlude a little longer. While they enjoyed this last moment together, I took charge of clearing the venue so they could end their weekend without worrying about the aftermath.

My role: being there before, during… and after

As part of the Signature Weekend, I accompanied Michel and Adrianna over the whole weekend: preparation and installation of the decoration, ceremony setup, supplier coordination, wedding day organization, officiating their ceremony and clearing the venue after the festivities. My role was to keep an overall vision of the wedding, to be the link between every participant and, above all, to take charge of the backstage so the couple could fully enjoy every moment. From Friday to Sunday, every detail was anticipated so that their only goal was to enjoy their loved ones and their wedding.

Their story

For them, the wedding was never meant to be a single day. They wanted to enjoy it. To take their time. To gather their loved ones around several moments, without ever feeling they were chasing a programme.

The weekend began on Saturday afternoon with the civil ceremony at the town hall, followed by a symbolic ceremony imagined and led by their loved ones. The festivities then continued at Maison Jenny, for a cocktail hour and a dinner in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Live music accompanied this first day, giving the wedding a particular energy and naturally creating moments of sharing between the guests.

A wedding that reflects them down to the smallest details

The bride, passionate about pottery and ceramics, wanted this passion to be an integral part of their wedding. She created delicate ceramic flowers herself, displayed during the ceremony and then woven into the table arrangements. Personal creations that gave the decor a particularly intimate dimension: here, the decoration was not simply chosen, it also told part of their story.

A wedding in three acts

And because their wedding was above all designed as a moment to share with their loved ones, the celebration did not stop on Saturday night. Sunday began with a brunch before giving way to a more relaxed day. Pool, cocktails, live music and an escape-game box set the rhythm of this second day, allowing the couple and their guests to enjoy themselves differently, without the sustained pace of the wedding day. And because they wanted to prolong the interlude a little more, a final brunch brought everyone together on Monday. Three days to celebrate, share, laugh and simply enjoy the people who matter.
